Pop icon Annie Lennox’s live album, 2015′ An Evening of Nostalgia with Annie Lennox, showcases the former Eurythmics singer performing live on-stage at Los Angeles’ historic Orpheum Theatre. The album follows her Grammy-nominated 2014 studio effort, Nostalgia, and works as a companion piece to that album. Recorded live for PBS, the concert features Lennox backed by a large 19-piece ensemble replete with strings and horns. Hewing closely to the vintage standards she explored on Nostalgia, here we get Lennox’s take on such classics as “I Put a Spell on You,” “God Bless the Child,” “Georgia on My Mind,” “Summertime,” and many others. ~ Matt Collar
